Vodafone Idea (Vi) has been recognized for providing the best 4G network experience in the Kolkata and West Bengal circles, according to Opensignal’s 4G Network Experience Report for November 2024. The report highlights Vi’s leadership in Data, Voice, Video, and Gaming experiences, setting a new benchmark for connectivity across the region. Vi’s network excels even in the challenging terrains of North Bengal and Sikkim, ensuring top-tier 4G speeds and a seamless user experience.
In Gangtok, Vi’s continuous efforts to enhance network performance are paying off. With the addition of 900 MHz spectrum to over 6,800 sites, Vi has strengthened indoor coverage and improved internet speeds, even in remote areas of Sikkim. The operator’s commitment to expanding its infrastructure further includes plans to add 1,000 new sites across Kolkata and West Bengal, promising even faster and more reliable connectivity for its users.
