Mahindra & Mahindra unveiled four new concept SUVs during its Independence Day event, including the Vision S concept, which is expected to preview the next-generation Bolero. The Vision S showcases a completely new exterior design language and a refreshed interior layout, distinguishing it from Mahindra’s current lineup.
The dashboard features two separate 12-inch digital screens, divided by a central vertical AC vent. These screens are likely to run on a new operating system with updated graphics and offer enhanced functionality. The steering wheel is a three-spoke, round unit with haptic touch controls for mounted functions.
Breaking away from the industry trend of embedding all controls within the infotainment system, Mahindra brings back physical buttons for key functions on the center console, including a dedicated climate control panel. These tactile controls are thoughtfully laid out to improve usability and build muscle memory.
Built on the NU.IQ platform, the Vision S offers flexibility in size (3,990 mm to 4,320 mm) and supports multiple body styles, drivetrain options (FWD/AWD), and both left- and right-hand drive setups. Despite compact dimensions, it promises the roomiest cabin in its class.
