Two senior officers formally assumed new administrative responsibilities in Pakyong district on February 10, marking an important administrative development for the district. Pulkit took charge as the Additional District Collector (ADC), Pakyong, under the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department (LR&DM), while Mr Sangay Gyatso Bhutia assumed charge as the Additional District Collector (Development), Pakyong, under the Rural Development Department.
Mr Pulkit assumed office at the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Pakyong, in the presence of district officials and staff members. Prior to his new assignment, he was serving as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) at Gyalshing under the Land Revenue and Disaster Management Department. Officials said his administrative experience at the subdivision level is expected to strengthen governance and coordination of land revenue and disaster management activities in the district.
On the same day, Mr Sangay Gyatso Bhutia also formally took charge as ADC (Development), Pakyong. Before taking up the new responsibility, he had been serving as the Additional District Collector in Pakyong district. With his new assignment, he will oversee development-related programmes and implementation of rural development schemes in the district.
