President Droupadi Murmu honors Guru Tegh Bahadur and urges harmony

President Droupadi Murmu urged people to embrace Guru Teg Bahadur’s principles and fortify togetherness on Sunday, the eve of his “Martyrdom Day.” “I pay my humble tribute to Guru Teg Bahadur Ji on the occasion of his 350th martyrdom day,” she wrote in a message. According to her, Guru Teg Bahadur gave his life in order to uphold the principles of justice, compassion, and truth. Everyone is inspired by his bravery, selflessness, and sacrifice. “Let us adopt his values in our lives and work to strengthen harmony and unity in our country,” she continued. “His teachings inspire us to move forward on the path of justice with determination and courage.”

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta declared on Saturday that November 25 would be a public holiday in honor of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th Martyrdom Day. According to the Chief Minister, the nation is commemorating Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th martyrdom anniversary with great fervor, respect, and devotion. A magnificent three-day celebration is scheduled for November 23, 24, and 25 at the Red Fort in Delhi. She invited people from all around Delhi and the country to take part in the celebration, adding that this historic monument serves as a witness to Guru Tegh Bahadur’s ultimate sacrifice.

The Chief Minister provided program information, stating that the three-day celebration will include a number of noteworthy activities. Among these would be a sizable museum that displays significant historical narratives and proof pertaining to Guru Tegh Bahadur’s life and martyrdom. Seven Sangat ensembles will play Kirtan and Satsang as part of a unique light-and-sound show on the Red Fort’s ramparts, CM Gupta continued. The Chief Minister asked everyone to gather to honor Guru Tegh Bahadur and ask for his blessings, inviting Delhi residents to participate in this momentous occasion that happens only once every many centuries.
