A best recipe of no sugar sweets for upcoming Rakhi

Raksha Bandhan, celebrated on August 9th, is a time to celebrate the bond between siblings and indulge in a personal twist on traditional foods. For those who prefer a “no sugar, only gym” approach, a homemade protein bar can be a smart and healthy alternative. Nutritionist Palak Nagpal shares a recipe for a delicious and nutritious protein bar, ensuring the festive spirit and fitness goals are maintained. This recipe includes oat flour, vanilla protein powder, cocoa powder, almond butter, honey, unsweetened almond milk, vanilla extract, and mini dark chocolate chips. It can be made by blending oats and can be served with or without chocolate chips for an indulgent touch.

Mix oat flour, protein powder, and cocoa powder in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk almond butter, applesauce, honey, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Pour the wet mix into the dry ingredients and stir until a thick dough forms. If too dry, add more almond milk. For an extra treat, add mini dark chocolate chips. Chill the dough in a container and cut into bars for a healthy Rakhi treat. Make these protein bars for your brother now to add some sweetness and wellness to your Rakhi celebration.
