Empowering Gen Z Innovators: Samsung India’s ‘Solve For Tomorrow 2025’ Competition

Samsung India has announced the fourth edition of its nationwide innovation competition ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2025’, offering over ₹1 crore in grants to fuel youth-led tech solutions. Open to students aged 14-22, the initiative will run for six months, with applications accepted from April 29 to June 30, 2025.

The top four winning teams will receive a ₹1 crore grant for project incubation at IIT Delhi. Additionally, the top 20 teams will be awarded ₹20 lakh and Samsung ZFlip smartphones, while the top 40 teams will receive ₹8 lakh and Samsung laptops. This edition introduces two new global themes: Social Change through Sports and Tech for Education, and Environmental Sustainability via Technology.

Participants will undergo 82,000+ hours of training, hands-on prototyping, and mentoring from Samsung leaders, IIT Delhi faculty, and industry experts. with increasing interest in digital innovation among local youth and educational institutions, the market expects fresh ideas in health-tech, education, and green tech to emerge, aligning with regional economic aspirations. The programme is supported by MeitY, IIT Delhi, and the UN in India, aiming to empower India’s Gen Z to lead sustainable, inclusive growth.
