Silver futures gain on fresh demand

New Delhi, Apr 23: Silver prices rose by Rs 28 to Rs 95,907 per kg in futures trade on Wednesday as participants increased their bets.
The price of silver contract for May delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose by Rs 28, or 0.03 percent, to Rs 95,907 per kg in a business turnover of 13,276 lots.
Analysts said fresh deals by participants led to the rise in silver prices.
Globally, silver was trading 0.88 percent higher at $32.79 per ounce in New York.
