Tata Starbucks has expanded its footprint to Gangtok, opening its first store in Sikkim’s tallest commercial building. Offering stunning views of the Kanchenjunga Mountain range, the new outlet aims to deliver the brand’s renowned coffee experience in a serene, picturesque setting.
The store’s menu includes the newly launched Classics Hot and Cold Coffee, alongside Starbucks’ popular beverages such as Vanilla Latte, Caramel Macchiato, and Java Chip Frappuccino. Customers can pair these with a selection of food items like Basil Tomato Sandwich, Mushroom Melt Sandwich, and Roast Chicken Sandwich, ensuring a blend of global and local flavors.
Strategically positioned in Gangtok, the store is poised to tap into the city’s burgeoning tourism and lifestyle market. With its warm, wood-accented interiors and locally inspired design elements, it creates an inviting space for both locals and visitors. Gangtok’s market, known for its increasing demand for premium dining experiences, is likely to embrace the Starbucks concept, adding a global brand to the city’s evolving hospitality landscape. Adrit Mishra, COO of Tata Starbucks, commented, “We are excited to bring Starbucks to Gangtok, blending its natural beauty with our Third Place Experience. This store sets a new benchmark for coffee culture in the region.” The outlet operates daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
