Future Generali India Life Insurance Company Limited (FGILI) successfully conducted an insurance awareness and financial inclusion program in Gangtok, focusing on rural Sikkim. Held at the New Panchayat Office Building Auditorium in Deoralli, the event saw participation from 160 representatives across 51 Gram Panchayat Units in Gangtok and Pakyong districts. The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s vision of “Insurance for All by 2047,” promoting universal insurance coverage in underserved areas.
Mr. AlokRungta, MD & CEO of FGILI, emphasized the importance of reaching rural communities with tailored insurance solutions. “Our mission is to ensure that insurance services are accessible in every corner of Sikkim,” he said. The program highlighted various products, including Long-term Investing Plans, aimed at securing the financial future of individuals across different life stages.
