Future Generali India Insurance Co. Ltd. (FGII) has launched an impactful insurance awareness campaign, reaching 21 villages across Sikkim through a dedicated 7-day van tour starting August 23. As the lead insurer appointed by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), FGII is committed to enhancing insurance penetration in the state.
The campaign featured engaging activities such as performance art, interactive Q&A sessions, and a lucky draw, aimed at educating locals about health, motor, and crop insurance. Ruchika Malhan Varma, FGII’s Chief Marketing, Customer, and Impact Officer, highlighted the initiative’s role in helping residents manage unexpected expenses and secure financial stability.
In Gangtok, the campaign has notably increased awareness, with the local market showing heightened interest in insurance products. Residents expressed enthusiasm for the accessible information and practical advice provided, indicating a promising shift towards more informed insurance decisions.
