On the other hand, Pathirana has injured his right shoulder. He got injured while playing the last T20 match against India. Pathirana could not even bowl in that match. Ishan, Malinga and Mohammed Siraj have been included in the Sri Lanka squad. They have been taken into the team as a replacement for two pacers. Along with this, Kushal Janith, Jeffrey Vandersay, and Pramod Madushan have been included in the reserve team.
Sri Lanka lost the T20 series by 0-3. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli joined the Indian team for the one-day series. They will play for the first time under coach Gautam Gambhir’s training. All the matches of the three-match series will be played in Colombo. Those matches will be on August 2, 4 and 7.
