Singapore Airlines will compensate injured passengers

Several passengers were injured due to the incident; a 73-year-old British citizen died. To deal with the situation, the plane made an emergency landing in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

Singapore Airlines also announced plans to pay 25,000 US dollars in compensation for those seriously injured. According to BBC sources, the injured passengers were rescued and admitted to the hospital after the plane landed in the bank. About 100 air passengers were treated there for a long time. As soon as the incident came to the fore, the administration was shaken. An inquiry commission was also set up to investigate the incident. When the initial report of that investigation came out, many people were shocked.

It is known that the plane started to rise and fall loudly in mid-air at the border of Thailand. The plane descended 178 feet in just 4.6 seconds. The passengers were terrified by the strong tremors. On the other hand, passengers also claim that this accident happened because the seat belt was not on.

According to the sources of the airline, there were 211 passengers on that plane. Apart from the British, the rest are citizens of Australia and Singapore. Apart from Singapore Airlines, the British government also announced special compensation for the victims. After this incident, strong discussions have started on the part of the airlines, as importance will be placed on wearing seatbelts in the aircraft at all times.
