In a ceremony held at the Chogyal Palden Thondup Namgyal Memorial Park, NIT Deorali, the distinguished presence of Governor Shri Lakshmam Prasad Acharya marked the commemoration of the 101st Birth Anniversary of the revered 12th Miwang Chogyal Chenpo Palden Thondup Namgyal. Serving also as the President of the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Governor Shri Lakshmam Prasad Acharya graced the event as the esteemed chief guest.
The event commenced with a heartfelt welcome extended to Governor Shri Lakshmam Prasad Acharya by esteemed dignitaries including Hon’ble Speaker Shri Arun Upreti, Hon’ble Minister Shri Sonam Lama, and Dr. Passang D. Phempu, the Director of NIT, amidst a gathering of officers, staff, local dignitaries, and the public. The atmosphere resonated with warmth as khada scarves and bouquets were presented in a gesture of profound respect.
