Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited (FGII) ), one of India’s leading private general insurance players, is launching free health check-up camps in Sikkim to raise awareness about the importance of insurance in securing against unforeseen medical events.
The initiative will be conducted in association with Central Referral Hospital – Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok. The inaugural health check-up camp is scheduled to take place at the State Bank of Sikkim head office in Gangtok on May 8, followed by another session at Entel Motors in Gangtok on May 10, both starting from 10.30am. Health check-up camps offer consultations and a variety of tests, including blood pressure monitoring, ECG, Random Blood Sugar Test, Eye check-up, Biometry, Power Correction, and General Physician Consultation, among others.
The company is implementing health check-up camps to raise awareness about health and the importance of health insurance in managing medical expenses and providing financial security during emergencies. The aim is to equip individuals with the necessary knowledge to make informed decisions. FGII’s health checkup program in Sikkim aligns with the company’s strategy to boost insurance penetration in India, focusing on raising awareness about insurance through various initiatives and programs.
