BJP’s Sangha Constituency hopeful, Tseten Tashi Bhutia, urges Sikkim voters from hospital bed: Choose wisely for ‘Mother Sikkim’

Tseten Tashi Bhutia, the BJP’s candidate for the Sangha constituency in the upcoming Sikkim state assembly elections, rallied the public today, albeit from his hospital bed in Delhi. Despite his physical constraints, Bhutia seized the opportunity to implore Sikkim’s electorate to exercise their voting rights wisely on April 19. Echoing the spirit of “Mother Sikkim,” Bhutia urged voters to prioritize the state’s progress when casting their ballots. Emphasizing the importance of informed decision-making, he encouraged voters to reflect on the past five years and carefully evaluate the candidates vying to lead Sikkim towards a brighter future.

Addressing Sikkim’s significant debt burden, Bhutia underscored the BJP government’s role at the center in alleviating the state’s financial challenges. He asserted that only through the intervention of the central government, under BJP leadership, could Sikkim find respite from its economic woes. Bhutia pledged to be a staunch advocate for Sikkim’s cause, advocating for necessary exemptions to ease the state’s debt burden.

Expressing disappointment at the neglect of critical issues such as preserving Article 371F and formulating comprehensive development plans, Bhutia urged voters to prioritize Sikkim’s long-term interests. He emphasized the importance of concrete plans and policies in driving genuine progress.
