Sikkim’s Chief Minister PS Tamang, kickstarted his election crusade with the Vijayee Bhava Jan Sabha at Chakung playground. Embarking on a 14-day whirlwind tour, he’s set to grace numerous events spanning diverse constituencies.
In a pivotal move, the Chief Minister unveiled his party’s manifesto today, outlining a roadmap teeming with promises and visions for the imminent elections.
Caretaker Chief Minister and SKM party President Prem Singh Tamang, in the manifesto, heralded 9 Guarantees, encompassing aspirations like “Golden Sikkim Guarantee,” “Empowerment of Sikkim’s Youth,” and “Good Governance Guarantee.” Tamang emphasized that if re-elected, his government would diligently pursue these pledges.
Over the forthcoming fortnight, CM Tamang is slated to engage fervently in a cavalcade of events across the state, rallying support for his party. On April 12, he’s scheduled for an extensive tour spanning key constituencies like Martam-Rumtek, Khamdong-Singtam, and Tumin-Lingee, endeavoring to address constituents’ concerns firsthand.
The CM’s campaign itinerary features a State-Level Jan Sabha at Jorethang on April 7, aiming to forge a deeper connection with the electorate and galvanize widespread backing.
In a continuation of his campaign odyssey, CM Tamang is set to visit Melli Bazaar on April 6, focusing on constituencies like Namchi-Singhithang and Poklok-Kamrang. Subsequently, an event at Rorathang Bazaar on April 7 will provide a platform for interaction with constituents from various constituencies.
As the electoral battle intensifies, CM Tamang’s schedule remains jam-packed with engagements aimed at fortifying his party’s position. On April 12, he’s expected at Ravangla Bazaar, reinforcing his commitment to constituents across constituencies like Barfung and Tumin-Lingee.
Addressing the Vijayee Bhava Jan Sabha at Gyalshing, CM Prem Singh Tamang conveyed a sentiment of assured victory, citing the absence of significant competition. He expressed confidence in SKM’s track record and underscored the people’s anticipation to endorse their work once again.
In a veiled reference to BJP’s Dilip Jaiswal, SKM President PS Golay cautioned against uninformed remarks about Sikkim, affirming his unwavering dedication to the state.
