In a momentous event at Parliament House, Sikkim’s prominent BJP leader, D.T. Lepcha, was officially sworn in as a Member of Parliament to the Rajya Sabha. The auspicious occasion was graced by the presence of Rajya Sabha Chairman, Jagdeep Dhankhar, who oversaw the solemn oath-taking ceremony.
Among those attending were BJP leader Dorjee Tshering Lepcha himself, accompanied by his family members.
Mr. Lepcha’s journey to this prestigious position was marked by his previous role as an MLA from the Gnathang Machong constituency in Pakyong district.
