SKM’s Jan Bharosha Sankalp Yatra sweeps through Sikkim ahead of assembly elections

In anticipation of the forthcoming state assembly elections, the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) orchestrated a resounding Jan Bharosha Sankalp Yatra car rally, resonating across Pakyong and Gangtok districts on March 10 and 11. Arun Upreti, the party’s Secretary-General leading the charge, emphasized SKM’s inclusive ethos, underscoring their dedication to Sikkim’s welfare and progress. He emphasized unity and harmony, emphasizing the party’s lack of hostility towards any individual or political faction.

The rally, spanning from Adampool to Whitehall, traversed key locales including Gangtok, Bojoghari, District Court, Ban Jhakri Falls, Ranka, Rumtek, Sang Khamdong, Singtam Ranipool, and Bhushuk. Upreti articulated the rally’s core message: a united front for Sikkim’s advancement. He reiterated SKM’s unequivocal aim to lead the state towards prosperity and development.

Expressing confidence in a landslide victory, Upreti predicted the SKM’s triumph in all 32 assembly seats. He affirmed the overwhelming support of Sikkim’s populace for the party. Encouraging Sikkim’s citizens to participate, Upreti advocated for peace and cooperation, urging adherence to guidelines to ensure a peaceful rally without disrupting public or vehicular traffic. “This rally epitomizes our commitment to every corner of Sikkim,” Upreti said.
