Sikkim Democratic Front chief demands arrest of alleged mastermind in KN Rai Assault Case

In a fervent address at the 32nd Foundation Day Celebration of the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) Party, leader Pawan Chamling levied accusations against Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, Jacob Khaling, and Lakpa Moktan, implicating them in the KN Rai assault case. During the event held at Legship, Gyalshing district, Pawan Chamling delivered a passionate speech, demanding swift action against the alleged mastermind behind the KN Rai assault. He issued an ultimatum, declaring that if the mastermind is not apprehended before March 5th, the party will initiate protests starting from March 6th.

Chamling asserted that the assault on KN Rai was not an isolated incident but part of a larger conspiracy aimed at assassination. Expressing suspicion towards government officials including Jacob Khaling, Lakpa Moktan, and CM Prem Singh Tamang, Chamling emphasized the urgency of apprehending the mastermind to prevent further unrest.

“This is not an isolated incident,” Chamling stated, referencing previous attacks on party workers and instances of stone pelting. He declared that tolerance has its limits and warned of impending protests if the mastermind remains at large by the specified deadline.
