Madame CM Krishna Rai extends vital support to Sikkim, distributes medical aid and grants

Samman Bhawan witnessed a significant gesture of compassion as Madame Chief Minister Krishna Rai oversaw the allocation of nearly 300 cheques through the CM Medical Assistance and CM discretionary grant programs. The event, aimed at aiding the people of Sikkim, saw the distribution of financial aid to those in need. Of the beneficiaries, 200 individuals received cheques for medical assistance from the CM’s Medical Assistance Scheme, while another 100 were granted cheques under the CM’s discretionary fund for various purposes.

In her address, Madame CM Krishna Rai commended the efforts of the SKM government, led by Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang, in fulfilling its commitments to the people of Sikkim. She highlighted Chief Minister Tamang’s unwavering dedication to enhancing healthcare, education, and employment opportunities in the state. Underlining the achievements of the SKM government, Madame CM Rai noted the widespread acclaim garnered not only in Sikkim but also in neighboring regions like Siliguri, Delhi, and Durgapur for its exemplary work in healthcare.

Drawing a clear distinction from previous administrations, Madame CM Rai emphasized the transparent and citizen-centric approach of the SKM government, which prioritizes the welfare of the people over personal agendas. She lauded the government’s commitment to assisting those in need, leading to tangible benefits for numerous individuals, including vital medical assistance and support for various social welfare initiatives.
