Indian Army rescues 500 stranded tourists amid sudden snowfall in East Sikkim

Amidst a sudden and heavy snowfall in East Sikkim on February 21st, over 500 tourists found themselves stranded, with approximately 175 vehicles trapped at Natu La. Responding swiftly to the emergency, troops of the Trishakti Corps, despite facing sub-zero temperatures, embarked on a mission to rescue and aid the stranded individuals.

Demonstrating their commitment to service and duty, the Trishakti Corps provided immediate medical care, hot refreshments, and meals to the stranded tourists, ensuring their safety and well-being.
