The Rashtrapati Bhavan witnessed a convergence of culture and commerce as ‘Vividhata ka Amrit Mahotsav’ wrapped up its inaugural chapter, showcasing the economic potential of Northeast India’s rich heritage. Inaugurated by Hon’ble President Smt. Droupadi Murmu and attended by dignitaries including Cabinet Minister Shri. G. Kishan Reddy and Minister of Earth Sciences Shri. Kiren Rijiju, the event highlighted the region’s diverse cultural offerings.
Beyond its cultural significance, the Mahotsav also provided a lucrative platform for local artisans and businesses. Managed by the Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region and NEHHDC, the event facilitated trade opportunities and bolstered the region’s handicrafts and handloom industries.
