EPF accounts linked to Paytm Payments Bank are going to be covered. Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) said that the transactions of those accounts will be stopped and no money can be deposited or withdrawn from the accounts.
The EPFO said that once the Reserve Bank ban on Paytm Payments Bank is implemented, transactions in accounts linked to it will also be stopped from February 23. A notification issued on Thursday instructed the officials in this regard. Any more from those new accountsApplications are not being accepted.
