Prepare to embark on a cultural odyssey unlike any other as Delhi plays host to “Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav” at Rashtrapati Bhavan from February 8th to 11th, 2024. Organized by the Ministry of Development of Northeastern Region in collaboration with Northeastern Handicrafts & Handlooms Development Corporation Limited (NEHHDC), this four-day extravaganza aims to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Northeast India.

The Mahotsav, part of Udyan Utsav 2024, celebrates the unique traditions of the Ashtalaxmi—the eight culturally diverse states of the Northeast. Through meticulously curated stalls, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the craftsmanship of over 320 artisans, weavers, farmers, and entrepreneurs, each representing their state’s cultural identity.

But “Vividhta ka Amrit Mahotsav” is more than just an exhibition—it’s a celebration of Northeast India’s vibrant culture. From traditional dances like the Wangala Dance of Meghalaya to the Bamboo Dance of Mizoram, the Mahotsav promises a captivating showcase of the region’s artistic heritage. In addition to cultural performances, the Mahotsav boasts a culinary journey through Northeast India’s diverse flavors, with food stalls offering a tantalizing array of dishes.
